Episode debuts November 19, 2005
Oxford Comics in Atlanta, Georgia paid host to a special visit from Santa Claus, where the fans were able to ask Jolly Ol' Saint Nick what they wanted for Christmas... provided they had been good little boys and girls.
The idea was to get comic book fans to talk about what they wanted for presents... whether the item actually existed (such as an Avengers trade paper-back) or wish fulfilment (every book Cross-Gen released into one book). Fans were asked not to ask for action figures, role-playing game merchandise, and the like... just good old fashioned comic books.

Turn-out though was less than hoped for (and a LOT of shy comic book fans out there... you'll rant on the web but clam up in front of a camera?!) so it gave the show to provide two special looks at comic book heroes not in settings they may not have been aware of.

John Fiorella's Grayson first came my way when Neal Adams' son gave me a copy at San Diego Comic Con the year before. Very well done (especially when he talks about the budget he had), it's the "elseworld" story of Dick Grayson picking up in a world no longer with a Batman. I've seen short snippets elsewhere on the web, but here was a chance for this show's audience to see it.

And I'm not sure how to explain "Wonder Woman: Who's Afraid of Diana Prince?" Created by the same folks who foisted the 60s Batman TV show on us, it's a 5 minute promo for a proposed Wonder Woman series, ten years before most of us ever heard of Lynda Carter. Who cares if the quality of the video was piss-poor... it just seemed to match what was going on on the screen.

Ana asked Santa for Walt Simonson to return to Thor as well as a little help from Santa's reindeers to take care of her husband's comic book spending.
A bonus holiday extra for the show was John Fiorella's Grayson
In cse you're wondering, that's Ellie Windwalker as Wonder Woman, admiring herself in a mirror. No lie.
